AI Fleet Ltd – Returns, Cancellation, and Warranty Policy
At AI Fleet Ltd, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality vehicle electronics and professional mobile installation services. If you need to change your order, cancel an installation, or return a product, our policy outlines your rights and the process below.
1. Statutory Cancellation Rights (Consumer "Cooling-Off" Period)
If you are a consumer (purchasing for private, non-commercial use) and placed your order online or over the phone, you have a statutory right to cancel under UK law.

Hardware Only: You have 14 days from the day you receive your hardware to change your mind and request a full refund.

Services/Installation: If you booked an installation date to take place within this 14-day window, you explicitly agree that services may begin before the cooling-off period ends.
2. Booking Cancellations & Rescheduling Fees
Because our mobile engineers pre-allocate time slots and travel to your home or business premises in the Norwich and East Anglia region, cancellations heavily impact our schedule.

More than 24 hours' notice: You may reschedule or cancel your installation appointment free of charge.

Less than 24 hours' notice (or missed appointments): If our engineer arrives on-site and cannot access the vehicle, or if you cancel within 24 hours, a Late Cancellation Fee of £X (or loss of deposit) will apply to cover the engineer's travel time and lost slot.
3. Returns of Hardware (Unused & Resalable)
If you wish to return hardware (e.g., Apple CarPlay modules, parking sensor kits, uninstalled dash cams) for a refund:

Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

They must be entirely unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging with all security seals intact.

Exclusions: Custom-ordered parts or custom colour-coded parking sensors cannot be returned or refunded once processed/painted unless faulty.

Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the items safely via a tracked postal service.
4. Installed Equipment & De-installation Policies
Once hardware has been physically integrated into your vehicle's electronics by our engineers, it cannot be treated as a standard retail return.

If you change your mind after an installation has occurred, we cannot refund the labor cost of the initial installation.

If you require our engineers to remove the equipment, a De-installation Fee will be charged at our standard hourly labor rate.
5. Faulty Goods & Installation Warranty
All of our hardware integrations come with peace of mind guarantees:

Hardware Warranty: Equipment (such as Thinkware cameras, Scorpion trackers, or Park Safe sensors) is covered by the manufacturer's warranty (typically 1–3 years depending on the brand).

Installation Workmanship: We provide a 12-month warranty on our workmanship. If an issue arises due to the physical wiring or installation path, our mobile engineers will come out to rectify it free of charge.

Faulty Items: If a product develops a fault within the first 30 days, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund. After 30 days, the manufacturer’s warranty repair/replacement terms apply.
